There’s No Such Thing as Woo Woo. Only Woo Hoo!

What’s with All the Woo Woo?

Mindvalley Academy is probably one of the best investments that I have made in terms of my personal development. There is so much awesome content to work with that sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming because I want to know it all, read it all, attend all the masterclasses and quests on offer. But, (and it’s a very small but) this week I found myself a little disappointed to hear the term “Woo Woo” referred to and it got me to thinking.

I am such a firm believer in the fact that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience that I can’t fathom anything that could possibly be considered “Woo Woo”.

Anything is Possible. Don’t believe the Woo Woo!

This Woo Woo product (that I have never heard of) is probably the only exception!

In this day and age, spiritual seekers know (or should know) that there is nothing in this realm that can’t be manifested, thought up or conceived of. Personally, I haven’t quite got the knack of it all but it is not through a lack of belief that it can and does happen – miraculously, instantaneously and fantastically.

Think about it. If, as a spiritual person, you believe that we are all a part of the God consciousness and we are just here to have a human experience – isn’t anything possible?

There are so many books that support this. All from people who have personally experienced the miraculous, like Anita Moorjani and Wayne Dyer.

Vishen Lakhiani’s book Code of the Extraordinary Mind also points to our abilities to make the impossible possible.

Many people believe that only certain individuals have the ability to shape the world around them. That only the “special ones” are able to leave a lasting legacy. But the truth is, all of us have that capability. We just haven’t learned how to use it yet.

Apart from the laws of attraction (which basically says that anything you can conceive and focus on will manifest), I am a firm believer in our guardian angels and the Archangels that look out for us. There is too much evidence to support the interventions of our Angels to bring about miracles. I have always been fascinated by the existence of our Angels. Doreen Virtue has written a number of Angel specific books that I have read and loved. In her book Mary Queen of Angels, she writes about many miraculous healings that have been evidenced by Science.

Pictures like this have been painted for centuries.

Sixty-seven miracle healings from Lourdes have been studied, investigated, and validated by the Lourdes Medical Bureau and the Catholic Church. Researchers believe that there are at least 5,000 that haven’t been validated, but are nonetheless credible.

Many people (conscious and unconscious) are probably firm believers that there is a lot of “Woo Woo” goings on. They may be non-believers but the popularity and my personal love of movies like the Matrix and Dr Strange (to name only two) support the knowledge that on some level a LOT of people can at least imagine an alternate reality.

Wayne Dyer quotes Neville in his book Wishes Fulfilled, and I love this:

Disregard appearances, conditions, in fact all evidence (my emphasis) of your senses that deny the fulfilment of your desire. Rest in the assumption that you are already what you want to be, for in that determined assumption you and your Infinite Being are merged in creative unity, and with your Infinite Being (God) all things are possible. God never fails.

With a Catholic upbringing, I know that this line of thinking will be considered blasphemous (being a part of God not a follower of God) and potentially bordering on evil. But, I also know that institutionalised Churches do not allow for the contemporaneous thinking of the day (or even Neville’s day) or the changes in the Global consciousness. I don’t have anything against Churches, I just personally don’t have a need of them.

Have Faith in The Woo Hoo!

There are a few ducks that need to be in a row to master manifesting (which is for another post and something I am constantly working on) but for me, we first need to stop believing in “Woo Woo” and start having faith in Woo Hoo!

Woo Hoo is where all the wonder is at. It is where we start to live in Awe of the things we see around us every day. It is when we start to stay in a constant state of gratitude for the abundance that is already surrounding us and for all that is coming.

Woo Hoo is knowing that the Universe has your back and that only good things are meant to transpire here.

I am all-knowing. I am all-powerful. I am unlimited.
